YES!!! It's about time the Jesus Followers counter protest & do something about these "Westboro Baptist/Pharisee types" who are giving us a bad name... How can they be SO blind to see that hating on people with Bible verses was never it's intended purpose? How can they not see they are totally disregarding the words of Jesus? John 13:34-35 - "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” Jesus calls us to be Spiritual fruit NOT religious nuts! Loving sinners doesn't mean you agree with sin. God's love is ultimately what brings people to realize they need to repent of their sins; so how exactly does being hateful to people & going against the same Bible you claim to obey help sinners realize God's love for them? It DOESN'T, it turns them away from the church because church is associated with "religion" & religious nuts, this is most of the world's "take" on church/religion because of religious nuts calling people out by their sin & being hateful about it instead of telling the truth in LOVE. This is an absolute shame because church is where most people obtain the truth in LOVE, begin to establish a relationship with Jesus & come in contact with the Holy Spirit who gives them the ability to live as Christ like as possible in spite of our flesh. This world needs an outpouring of the Holy Spirit & Jesus Followers to be leaders & undo the mess that religion based on man's doctrine alone has created! Heaven help us!!!
